Birds at Ojibway
I have to admit that I am not into bird photography. Not that I don't like birds, I do, and I like them a lot. But I was too lazy to get up in the early morning and I don't have proper gear for shooting birds. All my gears are for shooting people :)
Recently I had a trip with couple of friends to Indiana to take some pictures of the sandhill cranes migration. The trip stirred a bit my interest of shooting birds pictures. So I got up at 11:00am today (very early for me on Saturday) and went to the Ojibway Nature Center in Windsor. Here are some pictures I took with Nikon D3s and 70-200mm f/2.8 VR lens.

I pass this building twice a day in the past 18 years and never figured out what it is. Two weeks ago, when I drive through the border and saw the building surrounded by beautiful light of sunset. I took out my Fuji X-100, roll down window and took this picture.
Ice on the Detroit river. They are ready to move and just waiting for the first push of the Spring.

Point Pelee National Park revisit
Got up at 5:30 am on Sunday morning when it was snowing outside. My wife called me "Crazy". My buddy Charles and I drove 40 minutes to re-visit Point Pelee National Park and hope to shoot some sunrise pictures. Unfortunately, the weather forecast wasn't very accurate and it was very cloudy and cold. Here are some pictures we took there.

Went to DC on the Thanksgiving weekend. Only took my newly acquired small camera, Fuji X-100. Really enjoyed the tour in DC and loved the camera. It is a perfect camera for travel.
